Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic Massage involves the combination of various massage modalities that help to relieve pain, reduce stress and treat a specific problem. Through various techniques your therapist will manipulate soft tissue, tendons, ligaments, fascia and trigger points.
A treatment may include Myofascial Techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Active and Passive Engagement, Dynamic Cupping.
Certified in Dynamic Cupping
When cups are used during your treatment, it is a combination of massage movements, joint movements, and pressure from the cupping device. This modality is included in your treatment with your consent. During your treatment your therapist may suggest this as an effective way to reduce pain and increase mobility. The suction is created by depressing the cupping device or using a pump gun which creates a vacuum or suction on the tensed muscle area and then releasing it or gliding it. The results of cupping are similar to deep tissue massage and will vary for each client.
